Meet Our Board!

Karen Parker Feld,  President & Founder.  Karen is Chief Executive of KPF Global Investment Strategies, an investment advisory firm. In addition, Karen founded and led the hospice choral group, Journey Song. She is active in the community, and has served on several non-profit Boards, including The Institute of Current World Affairs and Berwick Academy. Karen is a Big Sister and holds a Ph.D. in economics from Stanford and a BA in public policy from Princeton.

John Carty, Vice President.  John founded and managed CMC Systems, a technology services company, from  1988 to 2008.  He has been a member of eAngels, a NH Seacoast angel investing group, since 2011, and served for four years as a Board member of the NH Theater Project.  John holds a BS in engineering from Northeastern University.

Jim Ryan, Treasurer. Jim is Senior Vice President and General Manager of Security Systems, Medical Imaging Technologies & Global Operations at Analogic, a medical device and security products company. Jim is a graduate of Lehigh University, where he received a BS in engineering.  Jim also received an MBA and MS in engineering from MIT.  Before joining Analogic in 2008, Jim was a strategy consultant at Booz & Company.  Prior to that, Jim worked for Ingersoll-Rand in manufacturing and advanced engineering capacities.  Jim has been volunteering as a youth baseball coach for many years.  After college, he spent several years working with a variety of non-profit groups domestically and abroad.

Nin Glaister, Secretary.  Nin is the founder and Creative Director of Shine Design, a New Hampshire-based branding and design firm. Previously, she was the owner of 98pt6, a New York-based design and branding firm. She holds a B.A. in graphic design from St. Martin’s School of Art in the UK.

Elizabeth Field.  Liz has served for the past sixteen years as an organizational consultant for non-profit groups including the Nike Foundation, Equity Foundation, The World Bank, UN Food and Agriculture Organization, Mercy Corps International, and Portland Community College Foundation, among others.  Prior to that she was a Management Specialist for the World Bank and a Management Systems Analyst for the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture.  She holds a BS from Amherst College and an MBA from Yale University.  Liz is based in Portland, Oregon.

Kris McKinster.  Kris is National Recruitment Team Lead at Planet Pharma, an executive search firm specializing in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.  Prior to that he was a director of StratAcuity.  Kris holds a BS in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech. He is active in the local music scene and is an accomplished builder-and-fixer of things.

Steven Rodgers.  Steven is an Executive Analyst with Amadeus Hospitality, a division of Amadeus IT Group, which provides technology services to the hospitality industry. Previously, Steven served as Investment Advisor at KPF Global Investment Strategies, and as a CPA/CFP in various prior roles.  Steven holds a BS in accounting from the University of Alabama, and an MBA from the University of New Hampshire.
